Post-secondary Education

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to work with people. I’m good at socializing, and I enjoy getting to collaborate with others to meet a goal. I chose to major in Sociological Administration, and then my work as a hotel model came after. While I was getting my degree, I spent a lot of time studying, socializing and forming connections with others, and I was also a student model during the weekends. Today, I work with photographers, videographers, and marketers to advertise for hotels and find different ways to improve the experience for the hotel residents.

Hobbies

My hobbies include karaoke and playing video games. Saturday night is Karaoke night; I usually meet up with a group of fellow hotel models and we sing many different songs, such as “Staying Alive” by the Bee Gees, “Hotel California” by The Eagles, etc. before going out for a bite to eat. Aside from karaoke, I also enjoy playing video games when I’m not modeling or hanging out with residents at the hotel. I enjoy playing Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda (any game in the franchise really), Pong, and Assassin’s Creed.

Rodcent Petercloth, Hotel Model

When people hear the words “Hotel Model” they typically think of the little plastic scale inch models of hotels that may be built or are in the process of being built. That’s not what I am. As a hotel model, I model for many different hotels to help advertise their business and show off how wonderful they are to stay in. I’ve done advertisements for Hilton, Marriott, Embassy Suites, and I hope to one day model at the Ritz-Carlton. I do everything from photoshoots at the breakfast buffet to modeling at the conventions held in the hotel, and I even model the newest swimsuits next to the pool.

Alexandra Warling

My hobbies include taking pictures of food and posting them on instagram, as well as singing as loud as i can to Karaoke. I have 3 loyal followers that comment and like my posts on instagram. I used to have 4, but we don’t talk about Helen.

I take photos of anything and everything I eat. Mainly things I cook myself. I wouldn’t say im a wiz with filters and photoshop, but i have to say this is one of my best photos! My process was, everybody loves nachos right? So, why not make nachos but with more tortilla chip so you don’t have to worry about soggy chips, and i came up with this!

The perfect nachos

Karaoke is a total different world for me. I’ve been considering quitting my job and becoming a singer. Everybody loves my singing, they always pull out their phones and i put a smile on their face. Some even ask me for photos, although they never stay around to chat. I usually go to a karaoke bar, and i always have people knocking on the door telling me to sing louder, but sometimes i wonder why they sound angry.

Anyway, those are my two favorite things to do in the entire world and i love them so much. I wouldn’t call myself a pro, but pretty damn close!

Geranna Alger, Corporate Investor

As a Corporate Investor, I consider myself highly professional. I invest in companies that I know will not go broke anytime soon. It’s my second year on the job and so far I’ve invested in some amazing companies. The main ones being Pizza Hut, Forever 21, and Nintendo. The best part about my job? I work from home. Yes, I get to do all of my work from the comfort of my bean bag. I normally work four hours a day, 8-noon. My boss is very understanding. He gives me guidance and as many sick days as needed.

Edald Peterman – Education

Just like anyone, I graduated high school and truly thought I knew what I wanted to do in life. But just like everyone, what I thought I wanted to do wasn’t what I was truly set out to do.

My passion was always marine life. I loved to read about marine life so I decided to pursue it as a degree once I went to college. I attended Iowa State University and majored in Marine Media. I was very passionate for this topic until I realized post graduation from college that there were no marine media degrees in the Twin Cities area. I believe that there were a lack of jobs due to the lack of marine life in Iowa. I got extremely depressed and began to eat my feelings. This lead to my current and successful career as a professional taste tester.

Edald Peterman – Hobbies

Most of my life is dedicated to my professional taste testing gig, however, when I’m not working I have two very important hobbies that take up most of my time. I am an avid ping pong player and I enjoy being lonely.

As a young boy growing up, I was not an athletic individual. I would prefer to read and watch movies. My passion for ping pong did not exist until I saw the movie Forest Gump. He inspired me that anyone is able to succeed. Ever since July 6th of 1994, the day the movie Forest Gump was released, I have played at-least 10 games of ping pong since. After work, it is a ritual of mine to go to my friend’s house and play an upwards 15-40 games of ping pong. We are both extremely dedicated players and don’t even say so much as a word to each other until we have finished our ping pong tournament extravaganza…which leads me to my next hobby, being lonely.

While I do enjoy my profession and my ping pong, socializing is completely and utterly revolting, in my eyes at-least. I would rather drink a concoction of white vinegar and baking soda. I simply like to be left alone with my own thoughts. These thoughts allow me to compensate for not having any friends. Who needs friends anyway? Not me… Man I love being alone. Being alone and lonely is the freakin’ best.

Edald Peterman – Professional Taste tester

Do you find yourself curious about what goes on in a day of the life of a professional taste tester? Well you’re in luck. My name is Edald Peterman and I work as a professional taste tester in St. Paul, Minnesota so I have a clear and in depth understanding on all the ins and outs of the industry.

Often times when an individual hears about the professional taste testing industry they will assume the job is as simple as laying around and eating food all day. While I do indulge in some delicious and decadent dishes from notorious chefs around the world, my job can be extremely demanding and time consuming.

Some of my responsibilities include tracking down new talent, whether locally here in Minnesota OR working with colleagues in other continents to locate skilled chefs. This means majority of my time I spend “stalking” Yelp reviews for websites, or even “stalk” potential clients on social media platforms such as Instagram or Facebook to get a first hand look at what they have to offer.

Once I track down a potential client, I get in contact and set up a meeting. At this meeting they cook for me, explain the thought process behind the meal and then they leave me to thoroughly taste the food they made. I then review the food, give a rating and then match up the chef with a restaurant or catering business depending on their worthiness. I would consider myself a matchmaker for skilled professionals in the food industry.

Ludi Littleland, Hobbies

No one seems to enjoy the best things in life like making intricate paper airplanes. Especially ones of all different shapes, colors, and wingspans. My favorite type of paper to use is loose leaf paper because it folds nicely. But while I’m an airplane artist during the day, at night I’m out in the hills of Hollywood stalking celebrities- yet I prefer the word “visiting” rather than “stalking” because it makes me sound creepy. Some may ask, “aren’t you from Tokyo? How do you stalk celebrities in Hollywood?” well some people don’t know that Hollywood is only a 10 hour nonstop flight from here through Delta Airlines. It’s completely doable. Just don’t ask how I’m able to turn off their security systems- I have my connections.

Jarwin Courtver, Staring at the Ceiling & Trying Different Barbecue Sauces

Jawin readily likes to seclude himself to stare at ceilings because he finds his day job too stressful. He get overwhelmed to the point where he just shuts down. After approximately 15 or 20 minutes he usually regains consciousness and gains an incredible appetite for barbecue sauces. Jawin is a regular at several local Seattle restaurants but he never remembers he’s eaten there before. The restaurants are pleased by his business but often get quite annoyed when Jawin rates them the worst sauce in the city. Jawin has yet to find the best barbecue sauce. Please give him recommendations of places to try!
