Eutie Lornandez: ‘Titanic’

I was eight years old when I watched Titanic for the first time, and it has stuck with me ever since. There is just something so haunting about the beauty of Jack and Rose’s “worlds collided” relationship—not to mention Leonardo DiCaprio’s beauty—that gives me goosebumps. The ending gets me every time, but watching their love unfold makes me feel on top of the world!

Geranna Alger- Coraline

My favorite movie is Coraline. I still remember watching it for the first time in 2009 with my grandma. I’ve always admired Coraline for her button eyes and blue hair. I love horror and animated films, so a combination of the two is perfect. I was also always jealous that Coraline found a secret door in her house which brought her to an alternate version of her life. How cool would that be? I watch the movie at least once a month and make sure all my friends watch it too. I can’t wait to have kids someday and introduce them to this classic movie.

Me Wild Card

Question: If you had to go your entire life and you’re only able to watch one TV show, what would it be?

Answer: I think if this was my life I would watch The Simpsons. Not only are their tons of season, they also predict the future. They’ve predicted so many things. I could watch each episode without getting bored. There are so many seasons that I could last through it. Also the show is hilarious. This show will never end. It’s been on since I was a kid. Jarwin Courtver, Legally Blonde

Hallelujah! Legally Blonde is the best movie out there. I challenge anyone that opposes me because they will fail miserably. Legally Blonde is the most comedic and stylish movie of the era. Reece Witherspoon plays the character, Elle who is my entrepreneurial spirit animal. I aspire to have half of the confidence and drive she has. I empathize with her when she gets dumped when she thinks she’s going to get engaged because I have encounters like that daily. I’m never disappointed by her video application because it just proves that being rich can get you somewhere. All the lawyer diction inspires me to sue someone and destroy them in court one day. I watch this iconic movie because I get to live vicariously through her dog who I identify with most. All in all this movie is a knock out of the park 10/10 recommend.

Tokyo Drift(ers)

By: Ludi Littleland

The other day I decided to take a break from making paper airplanes and flying to Hollywood to stalk celebrities so I could have a night out with my dearest friends Taldo Watfonso, Geranna Alger, and Calence Lundpatrick. We all decided to meet up at the Imperial Palace around 6 because Calence really wanted to stop and smell the roses and tour the emperor’s residence. I’ve already been there at least 32 times because some of my favorite stars like to go there as well.

After a long 2 hours of moping around the Imperial palace, Taldo, Geranna, and I decided to stop at Ben Fiddich for some relaxing cocktails and drinks. Calence is extremely stubborn and refused to go lounge with us and decided to get wasted by himself at The Tokyo Whiskey Library. We didn’t even have a chance to get some dinner together with the whole group! 😦 But after only an hour of what was supposed to be a chill night at Ben Fiddich, Taldo downed multiple bloody marys (where the vodka was replaced with MOONSHINE)!! I wasn’t expecting to babysit tonight but this is what it has come to. Thank God Calence called and said to meet him at the Robot Restaurant.

Geranna and I then had to drag stumbling Taldo to the Robot Restaurant because he was aggressively upset that Calence did not agree to buy him his happy meal from McDonald’s (which I could’ve given him an amazing discount since I’m a McDonald’s Writer). We finally got to the Robot Restaurant and they almost didn’t seat us because of Taldo. But I pressed a few buttons on our hostess and reprogrammed her into letting us sit down and eat. I really needed to take the edge off of tonight so I had one… or more.

The rest of the night I remember in chunks but I was more worried about all my friends getting back safely. Calence said he would take care of Taldo for the rest of the night, and I woke up in my cozy bed thinking about what we’ll all be doing next weekend.

Nichollipe Stromley: The Princess Bride

I was watching my favorite movie today and I decided that I would do a blog about it. “The Princess Bride” is a Fantasy/romance movie made in 1987.The film is about two lovers that are separated and must fight a number of enemies and creatures in order to stay together. The film is full of action and adventure and I love it because of the memorable characters and the lines they have. My favorite quotes are “My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die.” and “You fool, you fell victim to one of the classic blunders.”.

Embarrassing trend

Somebody asked me today, “What is something that is really popular now, but in 5 years everyone will look back on and be embarrassed by? Well, I think the answer is obvious: laundry detergent! As an avid laundry-doer, using detergent is a HUGE MISTAKE! It is 100% a scam and completely unnecessary. The MUCH better alternative is chocolate syrup. It’s cheaper, more effective, and makes your laundry smell great. Not to mention, if you ever feel that sweet tooth kicking in while you’re doing your laundry, you can just suck on a sock for a little bit! I’m personally shocked that no one else seems to have discovered this hidden gem.

What Keeps You up at Night?

What keeps me up at night? Something i shouldn’t be doing, it includes sitting in my bed under the covers… and reading the bible!! I really shouldn’t cause it keeps me up until the morning and i get no sleep. It’s such a guilty pleasure but its my FAVORITE book. There are so many characters and this jesus character sounds amazing! I wish he was alive, i would have so many questions to ask him, like why does he live in the sky? How did he resurrect from the dead? Does that make him a zombie? All these thoughts run through my mind and it makes it hard to sleep. Every day at work i can’t wait until i can get home to read it.

Alexandra Warling – The Blind Side

I love this film so so much, it combines lots of things like fear and love and hope. Its been awhile since i last saw it since i’ve been so busy! Im also not a fan of football but this film was good enough to watch without knowing about football!!! It might have even been good enough to make me get into football! well, probably not because i hate dirt. The main dude was so sweet and caring and i’m so glad the family was able to take him in and take care of him. sometimes its what you really need.
