Everyone dreams of being able to afford a vacation to a far-off land with their best friends or family. Personally, I would venture to my ancestral fatherland of Germany. First off, I would bring my brother so he could experience the culture and history of our predecessors. I would want to make this a whole week experience, take trains all over the country to see everything from the mountains and forests to cities and little villages. The first location would be a small town by the name of Ruhpolding where my great grandparents grew up and started their family before moving to the United States in 1938. As long as we’re in the countryside, we would spend some time in the Alps skiing and exploring the Black Forest. Then to the cities, where we could spend endless hours admiring the art and architecture of Berlin, Munich, and Frankfurt. All of this would be a beautiful overview of not only my heritage, but the storied history of Germany as a world power.

Q: If you had intro music, what song would it be?
A: If I could choose an intro song for myself, I would choose “ALL Star” by Smash Mouth. The lyrics move me. They are quite majestic.
Q: What weird or useless talent do you have?
A: I am able to recite “The Night Before Christmas” backwards. However, I have never done it in front of anybody because I’ve always been too nervous.
My favorite movie

I personally love the Princess Diaries. I think this movie series is fantastic. The main character has a whole glow up. I mean not everyone goes from nerdy to princess. Imagine having all this money just handed to you. Must be nice. I wish I had royalty in my blood.
Abathan Appleburn (College Pot Roast)

— This is not any ordinary Beef Pot Roast. This is the college version of one of the greatest foods on this great earth.
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
One 3- to 5-pound chuck roast
2 or 3 tablespoons olive oil
2 whole onions, peeled and halved
6 to 8 whole carrots, unpeeled, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 cup Natural Light, optional
3 cups beef broth
2 or 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 or 3 sprigs fresh Safron
1. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.
2. Generously salt and pepper the chuck roast.
3. Heat the olive oil in large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the halved onions to the pot, browning them on both sides. Remove the onions to a plate.
4. Throw the carrots into the same very hot pot and toss them around a bit until slightly browned, about a minute or so. Reserve the carrots with the onions.
5. If needed, add a bit more olive oil to the very hot pot. Place the meat in the pot and sear it for about a minute on all sides until it is nice and brown all over. Remove the roast to a plate.
6. With the burner still on high, use either Natural Light or White Claw (about 1 cup) to deglaze the pot, scraping the bottom with a whisk. Place the roast back into the pot and add enough beef stock to cover the meat halfway.
7. Add in the onions and the carrots, along with the fresh Safron, Rosemary
8. Put the lid on, then roast for 3 hours for a 3-pound roast. For a 4 to 5-pound roast, plan on 4 hours. The roast is ready when it’s fall-apart tender.

I bought A Dog Dryer on Amazon and it was the WORST purchase ever!!! Looked like it came from Wish, if you know what that is trust me it’ll make you cry!!! It was miniature and I have a 170lb. English Mastiff. It was so loud sounded like torture chamber that you were supposed to put your dog in! Anyway my dog did not like it. I have this a 2/25 stars.

Favorite food: Saltine Crackers
It all started when the saltine cracker challenge went viral on social media. I tried it, but never could beat the challenge. I just found myself wanting saltine crackers all the time after that. Now i’m always strapped with at least 3-4 packs wherever I go.
One of my favorite recipes that uses saltines is walleye with crushed saltines and cheez-its for breading and then deep fry it.
Nicholippe Stromley Seattle meet up with Jawin Courtver
Today I met the strangest person. I was at “Hole in the Wall BBQ” trying to get some new recipe ideas for throwing my dinner parties and I was yelling in my native Russian tongue because my insanity was acting up again. So silly of me! Anyway, a man named Jawin Courtver came up and asked me about my Russian! We started talking and I found out that he is a Russian cashier in Seattle! He was very strange though. He wouldn’t stop talking about the film “Legally Blonde” and his obsession with barbecue sauce. Good Grief! I had never met another Russian before in Washington so it was great to hear my language again! Well, besides the voice in my head. Just kidding! Theres more than one voice! We also went to the famous “Gum Wall”! It was a fantastic experience and I even got to add my own piece of gum to the wall. I taste tested a few of the pieces on the wall but strangely enough, they weren’t very flavorful. I think they should do a better job of putting up gum that tastes better but, oh well. After that, We went to see a real live troll under a bridge! It didn’t move a lot and it looked like stone but I could’ve sworn it said my name when I got close to it. Maybe ill go back and see it another day.
