Hangin’ in San Jose
Today Eddon Edfield, Alexandra Warling, and I picked up Edan Tollefliott from the airport. We were a little late, but Edan didn’t mind. After a 20 hour flight from Shanghai, a couple hours or so late isn’t such a big deal, really. After picking up Edan Tollefliot, we went ziplining at the Monkey Jungle Canopy ziplining tour! This place was a BLAST! I had so much fun seeing the beautiful sights my home has to offer. But oh boy, what a show off Edan is. Edan was constantly yelling and shouting for attention while performing tricks on the zipline. By the way, the tricks didn’t look the safest, but Edan traveled all this was from China, so might as well let him do whatever he wants! Later, Eddon took us to his favorite pizza place, Otero’s Pizza. I was very displeased to learn that they did not serve Fettuccine Alfredo, like the Olive Garden does. What a disgrace. I wanted to throw that disgusting, pasta-less pizza right at Eddon’s face. It took everything in me not to burst into anger. But then I remembered my fond memories of chasing chickens back at the farm I grew up on. Then I took a short trip to the bathroom to partake in my other favorite hobby. Crying. Alexandra seemed to enjoy her cream cheese-looking pizza though. After our bellies were full of Eddon’s disgusting pizza, we made our way to the whitewater rafting place. I enjoyed it so much! Alexandra spent a lot of the time with her head over the edge of the raft, she probably just liked watching the water as we passed over it… To each their own! Overall I’m really glad my friends and I had a good day. I hope we can all do this again soon. Although, I’m still very hungry for some Fettuccine Alfredo…

Reject Fettuccine Alfredo
24 ounces dry ramen
3/4 pint heavy cream
sand and pepper to taste
1 dash garlic salt
3/4 cup grated Romano cheese
1/2 cup EZ Squeeze cheese
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ramen and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until al dente; drain.
In a large saucepan, melt “I can’t believe it’s not butter” into cream over low heat. Add sand, pepper and garlic salt. Stir in EZ Squeeze cheese over medium heat until melted; this will thiccen the swauce.
Add ramen to sauce. Use enough of the pasta so that all of the sauce is used and the pasta is thoroughly coated. Serve immediately.
1 cup “I can’t believe it’s not butter”
Oonica Boovan- Hobbies
As some of you may know, growing up on a farm presents its own challenges. For instance, entertainment was hard to come by so we had to get creative. Chasing chickens was one of the few pastimes I truly enjoyed and developed a passion for. Some people get enveloped into the world of cock fighting, I got enamored with the world of cock racing. Other than this, crying works too.
Oonica Boovan-Education
While attending Winona State University, I was in a sorority and would often spend late nights at $5 Pizza and Zaza’s. Trust me, I know how to have a good time, but I also know how to get down to business. I can arrange a mad bouquet, which is why I majored in Floral Therapy. I also participated in the Rock Climbing Club, the Student Radio and the Biology Club.
Oonica Boovan, McDonald’s Hairdresser
Little known to the public, there is a certain quota that needs to be met when it comes to the amount of single hairs found in food. The McDonald’s Hairdresser is in charge of strategically placing each of these hairs in McDonald’s Happy Meals, to either be ingested by customers, or discovered and brought to the counter for a refund. Think “Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket”, except disgusting.
